Hotel CCTV and surveillance in Dubai
Hotels have to balance two things that pull in opposite directions: guest safety and guest privacy. Coverage has to be thorough in public and service areas, and absent everywhere guests expect discretion. We design hotel systems around that line, and we know where it sits.

What we cover
Entrances & exits
Watched around the clock, with face capture at the main doors so you can identify anyone who shouldn’t be on the property.
Lobby & reception
Cover of the front desk, seating, and lift landings – the busiest public space and the one most often disputed.
Corridors & lift landings
Floor-level cover of circulation routes only, positioned along the corridor rather than towards guest room doors.
Back-of-house
Kitchens, stores, loading bays, and staff entrances, where most stock and equipment losses actually happen.
Cash & safe areas
Front desk cash handling, safe rooms, and any point where money or valuables change hands.
Car park & perimeter
Driveway, valet area, and boundary, with wide-area cover for vehicle movement and after-hours activity.
By zone
Public areas
Entrances, lobby, and lift landings — thorough cover, discreet hardware.
Guest floors
Corridors and stairwells only, angled away from room doors.
Back-of-house
Kitchens, stores, loading bays, and staff entrances.

What hoteliers ask us
Where should cameras never be placed in a hotel?
Guest rooms, bathrooms, changing areas, and anywhere a guest has a reasonable expectation of privacy. We won’t design coverage into those spaces, and we’ll say so at survey if a request crosses that line.
Can cameras cover corridors without pointing at guest rooms?
Yes. Corridor cameras are positioned along the length of the hallway rather than facing doors, so you record who passes through without recording who enters which room.
Who should be able to view the footage?
We configure role-based access so only authorised staff can review recordings, with a record of who accessed what. It protects guests and it protects you if footage is ever questioned.
How long should a hotel keep footage?
Longer than most businesses, since guest complaints and claims often surface days later. We usually size storage for extended retention and confirm the period with you.
Do we need signage?
Yes. UAE regulations require visible notice where CCTV operates. We supply signage and advise on placement in public and staff areas at handover.
Can you work around occupancy?
Yes. Installation is phased around your occupancy and event schedule so guest areas are disturbed as little as possible.
