// Retail & Shopfronts

CCTV for retail shops and stores in Dubai

Retail losses rarely come from one direction. Shoplifting, till discrepancies, disputed refunds, and after-hours break-ins each need a different camera in a different place. We survey your floor plan and design coverage that protects stock and staff without turning your shop into a fortress.

What we cover

Six places worth watching in a shop. Coverage is about position, not count. These are the points that come up on almost every retail survey we run.

Entrance & exit

Face capture at head height on the way in, so you have a usable image and not just a hat.

Till & counter

Overhead cover of the transaction area for refund disputes and cash handling.

Aisles & displays

Floor coverage angled along the aisle rather than across it, so nothing hides behind an end-cap.

High-value stock

Tighter coverage on the lines that actually walk, positioned so you can still merchandise them openly.

Stockroom & rear door

Goods-in and the back door, usually the least watched and most exposed part of a shop.

Fitting rooms

Coverage of the entrance only — never inside, and never angled into a cubicle.

Typical setup

What a retail system usually looks like, These are starting points, not a fixed package. Camera count, resolution, and retention are set once we’ve walked the shop and seen the sight lines.
Why Prolynx

What retailers ask us

How many cameras does a shop actually need?

It depends on sight lines more than floor area. A narrow shop can be covered with four; an open floor with tall shelving might need eight. The survey settles it – we’d rather place fewer cameras well than sell you more.

Yes. We configure each site’s recorder to a single account, so you can switch between branches in the app.

Typically two to four weeks, depending on camera count, resolution, and the storage fitted. We size the recorder to the retention you need.

Yes. UAE regulations require visible signage where CCTV is in operation. We supply the signage and advise on placement as part of the handover.
